I love this cyberspace place of ministry called my ‘blog.’ It’s where I share a word from the Word as well as a piece of my heart and life with you all.
I enjoy spending part of my week with you and landing in your inbox several times a week. I especially love it when you pop in and leave a comment. It makes me feel like I know you beyond the world known as my laptop. You’ve become my friends and the object of many of my prayers.
That’s why I feel like I can share my heart with you and know that you’ll not only understand, but pray for me as well.
I’m a bottom line kind of girl, so here goes…I’m pushing the pause button on our study of John 15 so that I can wrap my mind around the book proposal I’m currently working on (it’s due in a little over a week). I know I intended to dive into this beautiful and challenging chapter with you, but after re-evaluating my crazy-busy schedule, I realized that there is no way I can adequately walk through John 15 with you until my proposal is complete. John 15 is just too important to skim over. And I want to enjoy every step we take along the way.
So, I’m asking you, my sweet friends, to bear with me for a couple of weeks while I seek God’s face on the book I’m working on and on the proposal I’m putting together. I’m asking you become part of this project by joining me in prayer. Without the Lord working in me and through me, I have absolutely nothing of value to offer. I need His will and His wisdom. I also am asking you to begin praying now that God would use this book in the heart of every woman who will read it.
Prayer lays the groundwork for fulfilling God’s call and I don’t want to take one step without it. So, please know that I am setting aside this coming week or so to prayer…to living life face down…to seeking His face, His hand and His anointing. And I can’t wait to share with you more about this new and exiting project! Your prayers make you an intrinsic part of it.
I’ll still be putting out my tri-weekly posts (with a lighter spin than normal), but for now I’m pushing the pause button on our in-depth study of John 15. Hang in there girls…I’m as anxious as you are to push go. Soon, dear one. Very soon.
