30:30Challenge

MY TURN:

I just LOVE these chapters! Don’t you?

Each sentence is chock full of a jillion and one lessons we can learn and apply to our lives. Haman, Mordecai, Esther, and the children of Israel all give us a glimpse of what the good, the bad, and the ugly in life really look like.

Today, I want to do something a little different. I’m going to ask you to not only journal your way through the Word, but chime in on how the Lord speaks to you about each of the main characters in today’s powerful passage of Scripture.

HOW DOES THE LIVES OF EACH OF THE FOLLOWING RESONATE WITH YOU?

Haman

Mordecai

Esther

The Children of Israel

Hathach

NOW TAKE A MINUTE AND READ THROUGH THE 2 VERSES BELOW AND THEN ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

“And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: ‘Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?’” Esther 4:13-14

1. Have you ever NOT done something you know you should have because you felt like if you remained silent, you wouldn’t be in danger or in trouble?

2. What is it that God might be calling you to that is bigger than you and would take a lot of courage if you were to say YES?

3. What lives are affected by the decisions you make and the position the Lord has placed you in now?

4. What lives could be affected by your willingness to say YES to God?

Sometimes, saying YES to God is the most courageous thing we could do, yet it’s the safest place we can be.

Today, I want to encourage you to say YES to whatever God is calling you to do and to realize that Esther was not the only woman born for such a time as this. So were you, and so was I, and so was every woman who has ever been born.

YES! YOU WERE BORN FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
