MY TURN:

In Galatians 3 & 4, Paul is doing a lot of explaining using the Old Testament as the basis of his examples.

I can’t help but LOVE Paul’s no-nonsense approach in Galatians 3:1-4. In modern terms, it might read like this, “DUDE! Really! What are you thinking!”

But he approaches the concept of the law and grace and how it applies to us in New Testament times. The basis of our grace is found in our relationship with Christ which makes us heirs of the promise…the promise that comes by faith.

“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29

Today, as I write this, I’m once again amazed that the Lord would not only save me, but place me in His forever family! I know me…and I know He knows me better than I know myself. Yet, He loves me and has called me His.

I can’t get over that!

How about you?
